Hosted over two days, 18th and 19th June, as part of London Careers Festival, Apprentice 19 was attended by students from Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy, The Halley Academy, The Leigh UTC and Strood Academy.

Held at the prestigious GuildHall and arranged by the Stationers Livery Company, the event offered an impressive array of exhibitors on all manner of apprenticeships including providers, universities and top notch employers such as Google, The BBC, JP Morgan, KPMG and British Airways.

Students had the opportunity to visit almost 60 organisations with the event taking up all of the main hall and both crypts. They avidly gathered information and literature as they toured the event and one student from Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy was even delighted to win a competition prize of a cookery book!

Post event, Mrs Marshall, Careers Lead at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy commented

“All students stated that they enjoyed themselves. They also said that it was very informative. I feel that this was an excellent event and hope that this is available to students next year.”
