Dartford Business Awards 2018 Winners

Leigh Academies Trust was delighted to again be the sponsor of the Commitment to Skills Award, jointly with Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, at the Dartford Business Awards 2018.

Hosted for the second year at the Winter Marquee, by fellow sponsors, Bluewater Shopping Centre, guests started the evening with a drinks reception, followed by food and an evening of exciting entertainment that saw people dancing in the aisles!

Sincere congratulations to our winners!

Both Alan and Nicola were so pleased to have received recognition for 4Roles4Goals Ltd at the Dartford Business Awards, and said

“To win the Commitment to Skills category at the Dartford Business Awards is phenomenal because the business is so young, but we know it has achieved so much already in terms of benefitting the participants who have experienced our 4Roles4Goals days.

The recognition by the Leigh Academies Trust and Ebbsfleet Development Corporation is high accolade indeed, showing we have met the criteria in the award submission.  We haven’t won the award for us though, we have a scheme which enables other Businesses to demonstrate their high values and ethics within the Dartford Borough, whilst enabling participants to learn new skills, see the wealth of careers out there and of course, offering a fun environment to learn – who doesn’t like a sporting event and learning by ‘stealth’!  This is a truly amazing achievement for everyone involved so far and we look forward to more sponsorship and promotion of businesses in the community going forward.

We would like to also thank the Leigh Academies Trust for the prize.  Commitment to Skills is not just about the participants, it is also about building a healthy and happy working environment.  For this reason, the Mental Health Training provided as a prize will enable us to ensure we are able to build a sustainable and healthy business as we build the organisation and grow.”
