Thank you to Daniel Goodwin of Pearson Whiffin Recruitment for coming into Wilmington Academy to deliver a series of workshops to year 12 students on “Make your C.V. work for you”
Students were split into small groups and given three C.V’s to discuss. In each case, they were asked to consider both the positive and negative aspects of each including layout and content. With each example, students went into depth on what sort of impression that C.V. might make and whether the content gave a favourable picture of the candidates concerned. Using his industry expertise, Dan discussed at length with students what kind of format and content they might use for their own entry level C.V’s
We look forward to Dan returning to Wilmington Academy later this week for two more such sessions and then to him assisting with mock interviews in July.
