On Friday 22nd March local logistics company, Europa Worldwide, who have a large site in Dartford, presented at a drop down assembly for year 12 and 13 at Wilmington Academy.

Giving an extensive overview of their industry, presenters then went on to talk to students about their own Rapid Career Development Programme offered to leavers over the age of eighteen.

Presenter comment was as follows:

“We felt it went well and had 4 students stay behind after the presentation to discuss the programme in more detail and one student confirming he will definitely apply as this is exactly what he’s been looking for!”

Mr Blackmore, P16 Coordinator – Pastoral

“It is refreshing for students to hear from big businesses in their local area and to develop an understanding of  what opportunities exist outside of a typical university or apprenticeship pathway. The Rapid Career Development Programme is a great option for those that are itching to get out into the world of work, develop skills on the job and make good money doing it.”
