As part of a stable careers programme, year 12 students at Longfield Academy took part in mock interviews this week. Following on from C.V workshops earlier in the year, the entire cohort was given the opportunity to submit an application and C.V for either a University place, job or apprenticeship. The sectors and roles included:
- Nursing apprenticeship
- Hospitality apprenticeship
- HR role
- Administration apprenticeship
- Engineering Degree apprenticeship
- Arts apprenticeship
- Sports coaching
- I.T Degree apprenticeship
An enthusiastic group of volunteer business professionals acted as interviewers for our students and certainly put them through their paces!
We are extremely grateful for this support as the outside expertise and knowledge of our guests adds not only gravitas but an added dimension of reality for our students. In one case, we were fortunate to have an interviewer from the business who provided the mock role. Our valued experts came from Telcare Ltd, High Profile, Greenwich University, Spicemasher Process Management, A4G Accountants, Shorthouse Hospitality, MOAT Housing and HR and are all experienced interviewers.
