The latest successful mentoring breakfast was held at Longfield Academy on Wednesday 13th September.

As the first academy within Leigh Academies Trust to offer students business mentoring,  a scheme where volunteers from the local business community donate their time and expertise to meet with students once a term, Longfield is keen to maintain and grow their scheme.

Utilising the academy’s network of businesses who offer students work experience, programme lead, Mrs Williams, was pleased with the response and a useful morning ensued including testimony from a current mentor. We look forward to working with new and existing mentors and training for our newest mentors is now scheduled for November 10th
